An advanced screening of the documentary “Our Power,” hosted by veteran journalist Che-che Lazaro, was recently held at the Far Eastern University Institute of Technology. “Our Power” is a 30-minute investigative piece produced by Probe Productions that looks into the socio-environmental and policy context of the Philippines’ dependency on coal as a major energy source, and how the industry affects the climate and the lives and future of Filipinos. The overseas Filipinos are now counting days before the start of the overseas voting for the 2019 mid-term election, which will start on April 13 and will last until May 13 at 6:00 p.m. (Philippine time).
