Azrael Coladilla organized a Post-New Year Party for the Bloggers at Johnny Rockets in Eastwood Mall, Eastwood City last January 17.
The event is also sponsored by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls led by Tinay Magtira and Angelo Angustia. It was a fun night because we were treated for a nostalgic party because of Johnny Rocket’s 50’s theme. Johnny Rockets is actually an American 50’s-themed diner chain.
For the record, I’ve only been to Johnny Rockets for like four times since its operation in the Philippines and so far, I always loved their burger and chocolate milkshakes (the best!). But for that evening, they served us with their special grilled-burger (I forgot what they call it), some chicken wings and unlimited french fries.
One thing I like about Johnny Rockets too is their gimmick. They have a segment where the servers performed a dance number from groovy musics like “Dancing Queen”, “YMCA” and even OPM classics “Rock Baby” and “Annie Batungbakal”. If a customer participated to the dance number, Johnny Rockets will give you Gift Certificates for their store (I think).
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls also conducted games which I won a Php 1,000.00 worth of Gift Certificate at Memo along with my team mate, Myke Soon and Florencio Jusay.
