I love staying in hotels and I love sharing this experience with good friends…
That is why I am thankful to Alex Dizon and Savannah Santiago for the opportunity of staying in Marriot Hotel in Resorts World Manila. Joining me and Alex Dizon is another blogger friend of mine, Rod Magaru. I checked in yesterday (July 2) at 2:00 PM in one of their beautiful deluxe room and although my photos didn’t give justice to it, I’m sure is loving it. The bed is very comfortable, pillows are very soft, and I had a very good sleep last night. And I love the toilet. Was shocked at first that the bathroom is see-through but I eventually realized that there’s a button to pull down the curtain. Awesome!
My room have a balcony but sadly, the window cannot be open. And I can’t enjoy much the view because it was raining hard on my first day of stay. I have to take note too that Marriott Manila have the most accommodating staff. I already felt their warm accommodation starting from their receptionist to the room attendants. I didn’t have any trouble requesting for extra pillows and toiletries. Thank God they’re free! I love hugging their pillows! I want some of that in my own bedroom too! What I like about them too is that they are all smiles and keeps on asking me if I’ll be needing more assistance from them.
Since we had a scheduled blogger event at Marriott Cafe for “Flavors of Asia” that evening, we spent some hours first at the hotel’s pool located at the 2nd floor. This is the same pool where Piolo Pascual did his cover shoot for Men’s Health Philippines. The pool is small and only 3-4 feet but the water is great. It was a bit raining that time but the water was never cold. But the best part never ends from there. We also tried the hotel’s spa and jacuzzi. I love sauna!
We had so much fun relaxing at the spa that we almost got late in our event. Met some blogger friends and enjoyed our delicious buffet dinner. Will write more about this experience in a separate post.
Since it’s raining hard that night, we decided to just stay in our respective rooms and I end up updating my Facebook and Youtube accounts. I love their wi-fi! The internet connection is so strong and fast, I managed to upload 15 videos in just an hour! I also managed to upload all my pending photos in Facebook. It’s nice that Marriott Manila is offering free wi-fi to customers and non-customers alike.
For now, I need to pause because I need to check out now. This may be a short stay but it’s something I’m looking forward to do again.
