It was in High School when I first discovered the music of The Beatles. I easily fell in love with their music and tried to memorize all their songs. I can actually sing the complete The Beatles Stars on 45 medley!
I started collecting The Beatles albums when it was released in cassettes during the ’90s. I even have some collectible cards and official books. I was at the point of getting any The Beatles memorabilia that I could find when I realized it wasn’t easy. I ended up just buying what I can only afford. My last purchase was the The Beatles Anthology DVDs and Book.
At home, we have this classic The Beatles vinyl that my parents bought back in the days. They managed to preserve it even though we don’t have vinyl players for ages. I remember even using that The Beatles vinyl as folder to show-off to my classmates.
PolyEast Records released in 2009 The Beatles Stereo Box Set (in CD format). I haven’t got hold of that copy to this date because it’s too expensive. But I am still hoping to still collect it.
Recently, The Beatles music was also made available on iTunes. You can read my separate post here.
Anyways, I’m having this Beatles flashbacks because I recently stumble upon a news online that The Beatles records are being re-released on vinyl. And as a Beatles fanatic, this is another exciting news!
Here’s what I found online:
The Beatles’ acclaimed original studio album remasters, released on CD in 2009 and in 2010 for digital download exclusively on iTunes, will make their long-awaited stereo vinyl debut on 12th November (13th November in North America).
Each album will be available individually, and accompanied by a stunning, elegantly designed 252-page hardbound book in a lavish boxed limited edition.
