RIP Whitney Houston – We Will Always Love You!

Two things that woke me up this morning, a neighbor singing “One Moment In Time” in a videoke machine and a text message asking what’s the cause of Whitney Houston‘s death.

I didn’t took it seriously at first because there’s so many celebrity deaths that turned out as a joke (eg. Justin Bieber, Demi Moore). But I did still check online if it’s true, and there it was, news all over the internet especially in Twitter, about Whitney Houston’s untimely death. The news is still fresh because it was a few minutes ago when it was posted at CBS and other news websites.

As a blogger, it’s a good opportunity to be the first few to discuss about her death. But I didn’t. I waited for my turn to express my sympathy for losing one of the world’s greatest performer. I don’t want to just blog about it just for the sake of getting more hits but rather, I want my thoughts to be all about my fondest memories of her music.

At noon time, I watched some tribute performances from GMA 7’s Party Pilipinas and ABS-CBN 2’s ASAP 2012. The latter was far better because they didn’t try hard to overdo the songs and honestly, I hate how Jonalyn Viray and Jaya
