Melanie Brown a.k.a. Mel B a.k.a. Scary Spice recently launched her much-awaited music comeback with a brand new solo “For Once In My Life”.
The former Spice Girl took 8 years to release a song after getting busy with all her TV projects most recent was America’s Got Talent and a short reunion and projects with the Spice Girls in 2012. Her last album, L.A. State Of Mind was released in 2005, and her debut solo album Hot in 2000 which spawned Top 10 UK smash singles “I Want You Back”, “Tell Me” and “Feels So Good”
Produced by Danish record producer and songwriter Lars Jensen, “For Once In My Life” gets good feedback not just from her fans but also got the support from other artists and co-workers like Heidi Klum, Emma Bunton, Christina Milian, Nadine Coyle, Jordan Knight, Selma Blair, Jay Sean, Paris Hilton, to name a few. In an interview, Mel B said, “I’m really excited to have a new single out! It has been eight years since my last solo single, so it has been a long time coming. This song reflects a whole bunch of emotions, from not being able to release new music to not having the confidence, but now it has come full circle and I am ready to release something that is really fun and I’m proud of.
