MYX, the number one music channel in the Philippines, honors the country’s top music artists in last night’s MYX Music Awards 2013, MYX also celebrates OPM with performances from several music acts that span different genres.
MYX Music Awards 2013 recognized the world-class talent of Lea Salonga as she was given the MYX Magna Award.
Among those who performed to honor Lea Salonga with renditions of her popular songs were Julie Ann San Jose, who sang “I Am But A Small Voice”; Erik Santos and K-La Rivera, “A Whole New World”; Juris and Richard Poon, “We Could Be In Love”; Nikki Gil, “Reflection”; and Christian Bautista and Rachelle Ann Go, “Sun And Moon” from the well-loved musical “Miss Saigon.”
They all came together afterwards in singing “Tagumpay Nating Lahat,” in celebration of the 35-years achievements of Lea Salonga as performer.
Other artists who performed at the Music Museum last night were Beatbox Philippines, Yeng Constantino, Pincess Velasco, Robin Nievera, Sam Concepcion, Anja Aguilar, KZ Tandingan, Zendee, Kean Cipriano, Elmo Magalona, Neocolours, Abra, Rhay Ty, Jose Amarra, Quest, Kamikazee, Hilera, and Typecast.
