Gone are the days when you associate Victoria Court as just a short-time motel. With the addition of their thematic rooms, guests can now enjoy their rooms for photo shoots and special occasions like honeymoon or even themed-birthday celebration.
With over 250 ++ thematic rooms in their 8 branches (Pasig City, Caloocan City, Las Pinas City, Malabon, San Fernando, Malate in Manila, Gil Puyat and Cuneta in Pasay City), walking thru any of Victoria Court’s room is like entering a portal to a different world… and fulfills any customer’s fantasy.
Known for its thematic rooms (or fantasy room defending on how you see it), Victoria Court up its ante with two new major rooms that will surely blow your mind — the “Asgard Suite Room” and “Red Suite Room” thematic rooms.
For the geek and comic-lovers, “Asgard” is in reference to the planet where Thor came from. The “Red” room, on the other hand, is inspired from the the critically-acclaimed 2011 erotic-romance novel British author E. L. James and soon-to-be released Hollywood film, Fifty Shades of Grey.
“Yearly we are faced with the challenge of creating Super Thematic Rooms for our guests, company and the brand. We always strive to come up with something better than what we have previously created. After countless proposals and brainstorming, we settled on two major themes, 50 Shades of Grey and Thor,” says Marc Sia, Chief Architect of Victoria Court AMH.
Victoria Court’s Malate counterpart has already created Thor with two level housing the party area at the first level and the bed and whirlpool area at the 2nd level.
The Pasig version, on the other hand, is a lot smaller and have condensed the concept. The throne becomes the Jacuzzi and they reserved an open space for party activities. “What made our room special is that we have a HAMMER that triggers lightning and thunder when you strike at any solid surface. We hired a team of sound and lighting experts to create the remote contraption for us. You have to experience it to appreciate the effect,” Marc Sia pointed out.
The Asgard Room is 69 sqm floor area, with fully air conditioning, have cable television, telephone, hairdryer, private toilet and bath, minibar, mini refrigerator, hot and cold water, karaoke with radio, Wi-Fi access, DVD player, Xbox Kinect, dining set, jacuzzi and private garage. Published rate is Php 8,000.00 per night.
The second room, 50 Shades of Grey is said to be more challenging according to Omar Palero, Chief Imagineer of Victoria Court AMH. “We don’t have a visual reference for the setting but the actual narrative from the book. We need to combine a suite room and a deluxe room just to get the floor area required to fit all the amenities we want our guest to experience.”
Coming from the garage, the guest enter an elevator car, complete with a floor that moves from your weight. The buttons triggers the automated sliding door for the elevator effect. It opens up to grey foyer that’s serves as a n introduction to the predominantly white penthouse unit.
The main room features the entertainment area equipped with state of the art sound system, and 50” flat screen TV. Behind it is a model of a grand piano that can be used as a performance stage for the pole attached on the center. The window offers a night view of the Seattle skyline that continues to the custom made Jacuzzi area behind the bar. They also added a smoking area decorated with mirrors to create the illusion of space.
But because this is inspired from the erotic novel series, the Red room have its “dark secret” or let’s say, the “Christian Grey effect” to the wholesome-looking bachelor’s pad.
A special button on one side of the entertainment module triggers the light to turn into red and exposes the display area for costumes as well as the red room of pain inspired bedroom. The bedroom adopted a more classic design with brocade fabrics on walls to balance the modern white living room. The bed features a contraption that when guest are strapped in, the partner can rotate manually. It can be a fun ride or can be used for something kinky. Beside the bed are displays of kinky items (sex toys) that can be purchased upon request.
With a total floor area of 108 sqm, the room has two Bathrooms and is the biggest suite for Victoria Court Pasig. Costs Php 12,000.00 for party.
