Kapamilya hunk JC de Vera (real name:John Carlo de Vera) has recently been commissioned by Tomato, an apparel brand, to pitch for its watch collection called Tomato Time.
The 28-year-old actor, who was last seen in ABS-CBN hit teleserye “Moon of Desire” and “The Legal Wife”, expressed his excitement with his new endorsement. In an interview, JC de Vera said, “I am happy to wear Tomato Time. It looked expensive although it isn’t.”
A watch enthusiast himself, JC de Vera finds Tomato Time pieces perfect for his generation. “Happy talaga ako with Tomato Time, kasi very particular ako sa watch. I like wearing watches, lalo na sa work,” he said.
Even celebrity stylist Pam Quiñones loves the brand saying “A lot of Tomato Time watches are very classic. If you wear it now, and then you keep it, you can still wear it after 10 years or so.” Pam Quiñones styled JC de Vera’s look to suit the brand’s image while ace photographer Mark Nicdao did the publicity photos.

From the initial two branches in Alabang Town Center and SM Southmall, it has now reached 30 individual kiosks including Cebu, Davao and soon-to-open branch in Naga, plus 25 distribution channels through Tomato’s own stores.
JC de Vera will soon appear on billboards for Tomato Time that will be put up around Metro Manila and the provinces.
