2012 Cinema One Originals film festival best actress Mara Lopez appears completely nude in a bathtub on the cover of the May-June issue of the Playboy Philippines, which also marks its sixth anniversary in the country.
According to Playboy Philippines, “For the 6th year anniversary of PLAYBOY Philippines, we had been on the look out for a muse. One who best represents ferocious sensuality without overstepping the lines of class and sophistication. One who, like this alluring actress, represents the wit and playfulness of this iconic brand.”
This 23-year-old indie-film sweetheart and avid surfer is not new to nudity as she did some frontal scenes for Ato Bautista‘s “Palitan” movie (opposite Alex Medina) where she won an award; and in Alvin Yapan‘s “Debosyon” co-starring Paulo Avelino.
Mara Lopez is the daughter of beauty queen-turned-actress Maria Isabel Lopez. Her notable TV stints includes Ang TV Kids 2 in ABS-CBN and in “Survivor Philippines” on GMA 7.
