Remember the good ol’ days where typewriters were the most wonderful thing ever invented? Then came the laptop and everyone thought that this technology could not get any better! Recently however, the trend seems to be focusing more on tablets rather than laptops. How do we know this? Look around all the customers lounging around in the coffee shop. Instead of the usual laptops, most customers now bring their tablet. If any ordinary person can notice such a shift in the trend today, one can assume that even the tech developers did as well. Thus, they decided to be creative and came up with : O+ Convertible.

At first glance, O+ Convertible looks like any ordinary laptop with 11.6” HD screen category but if one takes a closer look, it is definitely more than what meets the eye. The most distinguishing feature is that it can detach its screen from its dock and become a tablet. Basically, it is transformable from laptop to tablet, depending on the need and use of the consumer. It runs on Windows 8.1 OS and since majority of the computer literate users are accustomed to the Windows platform, understanding a Windows tablet + laptop will simply be a walk in the park. This time around, users do not need to compose documents or use Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint, or edit photos in a laptop then save the file in the tablet for viewing. With O+ Convertible, simply save the file and one can view it right away. Now that’s convenience.

Looking at the built and design of O+ convertible, the unit is very solid and the keyboard has a nice feel to it as the keys have a bigger partition or gaps which make it easier for typing. Though it is quite heavy for an 11.6” laptop, users would be able to comprehend because it is packed with a 6400mah battery which allows regular usage of around 6-8hrs or 3-4hrs of heavy usage with multimedia or heavy games like COD Black Ops and online games such as League of Legends. This maximizes the Intel HD and the Quad-core processor and 2GB of Ram. It also packs a 32gb internal memory at the tablet and a 500gb additional memory in its dock keyboard.

Like any other tablets, O+ convertible can connect to the internet through WiFi and has the latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology. On top of that, when docked, O+ Convertible is accessible with 2 USB 2.0 for any Windows supported USB device or add-ons such as mouse, scanner, flash drives or even hard drives.

The experience of using this gadget is remarkable.Being able to view everything in a 11.6” 1366 x 768 resolution HD screen makes work, relaxation, or play very comfortable. It is not so big that users will have a hard time carrying it on the go and not so small that files are hard to view. Like what most people say, because it uses Windows, it is experiencing everything we used to love in our computer, but now in a Lap-tab form. So if you want to relax, you can easily dock it the way you want and watch your movie or listen to your favorite songs that are saved in the dock or via stream online like any regular laptop. You can play your favourite game as if it is your regular laptop and for accessibility to work, you can open your Microsoft office or Adobe Programs. What’s more is that during presentation and meetings, you can simply dock the tablet facing your audience orproject it in a projector through Micro HDMI.

To sum it all up, O+ Convertible is a complete package. It is like bringing everything you need, viewing them all in a tablet with utmost ease and putting everything that you need on-the-go into one. That is the O+ convertible.
