Zayn Malik was absent when his group One Direction performed in Manila, Philippines recently due to stress.
A spokesperson for the band released a statement which read: “Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wish him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta.”
But rumors spread that Zayn Malik did not only quit the band’s tour, but was also planning to quit One Direction as well.
And today, the shocking news happened. In an official statement posted by One Direction in their Facebook Page, the other four members – Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan – will continue as a four-piece and look forward to their forthcoming concerts, world tour, and fifth album.
