LBC has always endeavoured itself to serve the Filipino-whether it be thru its renowned ‘padala” for families and friends separated by distance or thru its various logistical solutions for businesses.

And now, LBC has gone one step further in their quest to serve. This, after its LBC Emergency Response Team became certified rescuers of the Manila International Airport.  They were accredited after passing the recent MIAA Scale Crash Rescue Exercise 2017 held recently at the NAIA, which was participated in by other local government units and private sector partners.

The LBC Emergecy Response Team is composed of 27 employees from its different departments and business units who all volunteered. The team is led by Mickee S. Manuel, upon the stewardship of Christian Guidotti, VP-Administrative Services and Avelino Joseph Braceros, Head of Safety & Security and Admin Services Dept.

Before taking the MIAA Drill, the LBC team all went thru stringent training with the Philippine Red Cross, the Philippine Coast Guard, Weather Philippines and Emergency Rescue Association. Manuel is very elated with the accreditation received by the LBC Response Team, saying “it is our honor to be of service to anyone who needs our help because we all want to save lives. We have always believed in the motto: Helping others in need is not only a responsibility of life. It is what gives meaning to life.”

The LBC Response Team will now be working hand in hand with the MMDA-MMEVC (Metro Manila Emergency Volunteer Corps), the Philippine Red Cross and the Philippine Coast Guard during calamities and emergency situations at the MIAA.
