Everyone in the country knows who Vice Ganda is, as evidenced by the large number of followers from her social media accounts to her noontime show “It’s Showtime” as well as her ever popular late night show “Gandang Gabi Vice”, and her new TV show “Everybody, Sing!”.
An A-list celebrity and a versatile performer, Vice Ganda is known not only for her on-stage achievements but off-stage successes as well.
In fact, her long-time running show, It’s Showtime, which airs on multi-platforms, is currently enjoying its high ratings because of its new segment, “Reina Ng Tahanan”, a beauty pageant of sort for all kinds of mothers.
In the tradition of Tawag Ng Tanghalan and Ms. Q&A, It’s Showtime scores another hit and once again proves, through its entire team and Vice Ganda, that it is a gamechanger and a trend setter. In fact, “Reina Ng Tahanan” is now the main segment of the show – having a bigger air time on the show – and there might even be a monthly finals.
We are pumped-up and inspired to outdo ourselves every day and we are so happy to entertain our viewers,” Vice Ganda said.
“We are inspired to na lalong pagandahin ang segment.
The award-winning host and unkabogable star has this interesting story about their new segment:
“Madami akong naututunan. May isa kaming conestant, isang nanay na very class, very educated ang English niya – yung edukadang English ha. So nagpakapon yung lalake. Family planning daw is designed to enjoy life and so that each couple could enjoy their children. Nung nagpakapon yung Lalake, nagkaroon yung Nanay ng peace of mind.
We cannot stereotype nanays. Madaming hugis, madaming kuwento, madaming kinds.”
“Factually, millions of Pinoy mothers love the segment. Mothers of all ages see themselves on the segment regardless of economic class or background.”
“Motherhood is universal!”
And if the pure fun and unbridled mirth of It’s Showtime and Everybody, Sing! are not enough, millions of solid Vice Ganda fans must save the dates of July 17 (9: 00 p.m. Manila Time – World Premiere) and July 18 (11:00 a.m. Manila Time – Worldwide Screening) for the highly-anticipated and biggest online concert of year – Gandemic: The VG-Tal Concert.
