Events Coverage: Jonas Brothers Live in Manila – Press Conference

The Jonas Brothers are finally here in Manila, Philippines and will be doing a 2-day concert starting TODAY!

But before this much-anticipated concert from the boys (and now grown-up) that gave us the smash hits “Love Bug”, “When You Look Me In The Eye”, they held a press conference to promote their show yesterday at the Makati Shangri-La Plaza Hotel.

The Jonas Brothers talks about their 3-year hiatus, solo careers, and even had good words about Philippine pride Charice, Lea Salonga and Anna Marie. They even shared their excitement in performing to Manila for the first time, how they love Filipino foods like adobo and halo-halo, the Pinoy’s warm hospitality, their trip to the Luneta Park (where Joe Jonas said, “too many kids running… and too many cats running”), and a possibility of riding a jeepney.

Picking up where they left off in 2010, the Jonas Brothers will be performing together for the first time in three years. Their first visit to the Philippines is set at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on October 19, and at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on October 20 presented by That’s Ntertainment Productions.

After a three-year hiatus, brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin  reunite and perform for their Filipino fans  in an exciting concert sashaying a string of pop-rock hits as well as debut some of their new materials from their forthcoming album reported to be released by the end of 2012.

… and this is where the Jonas Brothers mentioned Charice and Lea Salonga. Nick Jonas also performed “Something” by The Beatles when asked about what song he will dedicate to a girl… and with the rest performing an acapella version of “Love Bug”.
