Last week, KFC Philippines sent us a set of customized pajamas along with an invitation to try the new KFC Breakfast Buffet.
To make each waking moment an exciting one, the new KFC Breakfast Buffet is available this month in selected KFC stores from 7:30 am to 10:00 am on all weekends of July. Breakfast includes unlimited servings of Pinoy favorites like chicken arrozcaldo, tocino and longganisa, and other choices like chocolate chip pancake, chicken fillet, plain and/or garlic rice, scrambled eggs and more. All this for just Php 199.00 (adults) and Php 99.00 (kids).
I tagged along my mother and 4-year-old niece since it says in their promo that this is a family breakfast bonding. Since we live in Cavite, I assumed the KFC in Tagaytay is just a few hours drive from Molino. It turns out, we traveled for two hours or more just to try the KFC Breakfast Buffet.The KFC branch in Tagaytay is located at Silang Crossing East Tagaytay City, just across Olivarez Plaza.
Aside from Tagaytay. other participating KFC Breakfast Stores includes branches in Eastwood, Congressional, Jupiter, St. Joseph (near St. Luke’s E. Rodriguez, Quezon City), EDSA Central, Vito Cruz, Tagaytay and San Pablo Town Plaza, Laguna.
Although we arrived 30-minutes before the scheduled breakfast buffet, we were still accommodated by the friendly staff of KFC Tagaytay. I decided to dress up in KFC pajamas to surprise everyone but it turns out I’m not the only one wearing pajamas as the KFC crews are also dressed similar to my pajamas. I looked like one of the service crew but so what, it was fun dressing up once in a while.
For my choice of breakfast buffet, I had garlic rice, tocino, longganisa and scrambled eggs. My mother tried the same but added arrozcaldo with original recipe chicken. My niece enjoyed her choco-chip pancakes and hot chocolate. Drink choices also includes a bottomless apple juice, orange juice, and coffee. Just like any other buffet, customers are restricted from sharing their food or take-out left-over foods. KFC will charge Php 100.00 for left overs so it’s advisable to get the right amount of serving that you think you can consume.
Our breakfast was indeed delicious, generous and freshly-made. I personally liked the tocino and longganisa. This is my first time to try the KFC a.m. meals. and I actually liked it. Price-wise, it’s worth it because of the many food choices.
