With so many telenovelas being shown on television — most of it showing too much sex and violence — don’t you wish a wholesome and youth-oriented series once more dominates the small screen? I miss the times when I’m still watching ‘Gimik‘ at ABS-CBN 2. It’s one of my ‘growing-up’ shows during my teenage years.

That is why it is nice to know that finally a fun and exciting show is arriving in the small screen this coming September 4 at the Kapamilya Network. According to their promotional campaign, we’re about to encounter the ultimate barkada experience (U.B.E.) with ABS-CBN’s newest series, “Growing Up,” starring Kathryn Bernardo and Julia Montes (who become famous because of their hit Mara Clara series, and “Way Back Home” movie).
