2011 Global Handwashing Day in the Philippines

Started in 2008 by the Global Public-Private Partnership for Hand Washing aims to foster and support a global culture of handwashing with soap. This event is simultaneously celebrated in every country to raise awareness about the importance of proper handwashing with soap. In Manila, the grand celebration was held at the Batasan Hills National High School joined by hundreds of students.
