After her much successful first solo album “Now Playing” that reached platinum status, Acoustic Pop Sessionista Juris will make you fall in love all over again with her second solo album “FOREVERMORE“.
Under Star Records, Juris‘ latest all-OPM compilation treats hopeless romantics with hit-bound original compositions and soothing renditions of well-loved Filipino ballads including Ariel Rivera’s “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin“; Pops Fernandez’ “Don’t Say Goodbye“; and Side A’s “Forevermore“.
Here and abroad, Juris‘ songs made us all cry, swoon and fall in-love. And her new album also includes the two tracks which were digitally released in Korea – “If You and Me” and “Wishes“.
Her second album also gathered some of the country’s most renowned composers and album producers including Ebe Dancel of Sugarfree, Trina Belamide, Marvin Querido, Jimmy Antiporda, Francis and Carla Concio, and Asian acoustic sensation and Juris‘ fellow ASAP sessionista, Aiza Seguerra who also produced a song that Juris herself wrote. Award-winning composer-songwriter Jonathan Manalo is the album’s over-all producer.
Here is a recent music video of Juris‘ rendition of a Sharon Cuneta classic hit “Now That You’re Gone”, which is also featured as the movie theme song for the blockbuster film “No Other Woman” starring Anne Curtis, Christine Reyes and Derek Ramsay. The movie is still showing in over 100 theaters nationwide (see related movie review here).
