A lot of good stuffs are showing in theatres lately, but if you’re looking for some hard hitting action, well executed stunts and superb performance, Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert de Niro can give you that in their latest movie Killer Elite.

Jason Statham played the role of Danny Bryce, a retired member of Britain’s Elite Special Air Service who is forced into action after his mentor and longtime friend, Hunter, (Robert De Niro) is taken captive. To release Hunter, Danny must kill three SAS agents who murdered the sons of an Arab leader. His mission: kill three assassins dispatched by their cunning leader played by none other than Clive Owen. Adding spice to this action movie is Anne, Danny’s girlfriend, who is played by Yvonne Strahovski from the hit TV series, Chuck.

Killer Elite, a movie based on a true story, races across the globe from Australia to Paris, London and the Middle East in an action movie that will really get you at the edge of your seat. Most guys will definitely find this movie exciting with more solid and tough action stunts and fewer dialogues.

Killer Elite Jason Statham and Robert De Niro
Statham and Owen paired up in a brawl that definitely showed their strength and grace as one of the most promising action starts of today. The scenes where they showed a physical combat with each other are definitely one of the most remarkable parts of the movie. Robert De Niro, although wasn’t visible for the most part of the movie, also gave an excellent performance as a retired special agent.

Killer Elite received a positive response from the audience when it comes to the actors’ performance but the over complicated plot and somewhat unoriginal story received mostly negative reviews. If you’re really looking for some meaningful movie with more remarkable lines and emotional scenes, Killer Elite is clearly not for you. But if you’re after some bad ass guy running after another bad ass, you should definitely go and catch this film.

In a premiere night brought to us by Wow FM, three lucky winners and their friends got to enjoy the advance screening of Killer Elite in SM Megamall Cinema 7. Special thanks to our friends from WOW FM for the invites.
