29-year-old Century Tuna modeling finalist, June Macasaet from Makati, Philippines bested more than 50 other male models from across the globe to win the prestigious Manhunt International 2012 title last Friday (November 9) held at the Scala Theater, Siam Square, Bangkok, Thailand. In addition to winning the top prize, June Macasaet also won the Urban Male Award.
Manhunt International is an international male beauty pageant which began in 1993, though the roots of the pageant go back to 1987 when one single national preliminary was held in Singapore.
Filipino contestants competing in Thailand pageants has turned out to be a winning combination the past couple weeks as a Pinoy male model was crowned the 16th winner in the Manhunt International 2012 male pageant in Bangkok.
Earlier this month, transgender Kevin Balot became Miss International Queen 2012 in Pattaya, Thailand.
Eligibility requirements for the male model pageant include you must be 18 to 30 years old, single or married, at least 5’11”, proficient in English and have previous modeling experience.
