On November 23, the premier one-stop, nonstop tourist and lifestyle hub in the Philippines will crown its new Ms. Resorts World Manila.
Being an advocate in championing everything Filipino, Resorts World Manila aims to take its annual search a notch higher by incorporating Pinoy fashion in its pursuit to find the true embodiment of a Filipina as well as to represent its vision for elegance and hospitality.
Last October, the finalists underwent modeling workshop conducted by international model and former VJ, Joey Mead at the Genting Club, which was then followed by Resorts World Manila 2013 Calendar shoot wherein they were styled by stylist to the stars Pam Quinones and renowned fashion photographer Mark Nicdao.
This November, finalists will also go through a series of Fashion, Styling and Talent shows, as well as Personality Development Training and Amazing Race Challenge to prep them on the Final Runway at the state-of-the-art Newport Performing Arts Theater (NPAT) on November 23. The 20 finalists will compete in an illustrious lingerie brand Fashion Show-inspired Final Runway where they will be showcasing opuses from Cebu Designers’ Guild headed by Cebu’s fashion icon, Philip Rodriguez.
Also competing for the title is the Filipino-American Katarina Martinez who will represent the beautiful island of Guam. Resorts World Manila was one of the sponsors of the recent Miss Earth Guam pageant where 21-year-old Katarina Martinez was among the 18 hopefuls and because of her Filipino heritage she was awarded as Ms. Resorts World Manila – Guam.
