C-Interactive Digital Entertainment announced that The Hunger Games DVD and VCD will be released on August 25, 2012 (Saturday), and Blu-ray on August 30, 2012 (Thursday).
This will also coincide with the grand launch of “Catch The Hunger Games Fever!” at the Events Center, SM MegaMall. The Pre-ordering of The Hunger Games DVD & Blu-ray is also extended until the closing of store hours of August 24, 2012.
Also, if you wan to be Katniss or Peeta (or Gale, Rue, Cato, Haymitch, Effie or even Cinna), here’s your chance to have your favorite Hunger Games character come to life! On August 25, 2012, join “The Hunger Games Cosplay Tribute” brought to us by The Hunger Games by C-Interactive Digital Entertainment in cooperation with Astroplus and Hunger Games Philippines.
This contest is open to all fanatics and cosplayer of Hunger Games from ages 13 and up who pre-ordered the home video at AstroPlus and AstroVision.

Judges will choose the top 3 overall winners, regardless of category. Breakdown of cash prizes are as follows:
