BlackBerry recently celebrated the Sinulog weekend in Cebu, Philippines, with two big events enticing more consumers to be part of the BlackBerry Barkada (a Filipino word to refer to a group of friends). Sinulog is an annual festival that draws tourists from all over the world with its colorful parades, street dancing, and parties all over the island.
The first of these was a mall show at SM Cebu, headlined by three of the Philippines’ most popular young actors – Enchong Dee, Gerald Anderson, and Rayver Cruz. After thrilling the audience with serenades and suave dance moves, the three heartthrobs conducted games and demos showcasing how BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) can bring people closer together. Lucky BlackBerry fans who participated in the activities were even able to join the three celebrities in an exclusive dinner after the mall show.
