e-PLUS Tap to Pay , the newest contactless stored value card in the market with an expansive acceptance ranging from entertainment , shopping , transportation and food retail, has sealed its partnership with McDonald’s Philippines in an effort to make Filipino’s dining experience more convenient.
Slated to launch by November this year, McDonald’s branches will start accepting from their loyal diners the e-PLUS Tap to Pay Card as payment.
After becoming a 100% Filipino-owned company in 2005, McDonald’s has grown to become one of the country’s leading fast food chains with more than 400 branches nationwide. McDonald’s mission to serve Filipinos all over the country is shared by e-PLUS Tap to Pay, a product geared towards providing Filipinos cashless convenience linked with an array of exciting and exclusive perks and more savings. The e-PLUS Tap to Pay Card is a secured, reloadable smartcard product from the country’s biggest retail and mall operations group, SM. The card is envisioned to further expand to include other applications in public transportation services, vending, remittance and NFC technology making use of the mobile platform.
