Ever wondered how a Filipino entrepreneur took a retail outlet and transformed it into one of the first successful online ventures in the Philippines? Thus, creating a new market for the roses they were growing in Tagaytay that were only being sold in the traditional flower shops. One man made it easy for people to show they remembered; through the click of a mouse, the use of a credit card and direct delivery to the recipient. This is how Dustin Andaya started Island Rose.
iACADEMY School of Continuing Education (iSCE), in partnership with the International Institute of Digital Marketing (IIDM) and the Certified Digital Marketer Program (CIDM), is launching their first foray in online learning this October – the e-Business Specialist Program.
The guest speakers invited include: Hans Roxas-Chua, one of the pioneers of online learning for digital marketing, President of eLearning EDGE, who will speak about the e-Business Specialist Program; Dustin Andaya, the founder of Island Rose, and; Jorge Azurin, the Regional Director for Continental Asia of Freelancer.com, who will mentor the participants after the culmination of the course. They share with us their understanding and experience of business evolution.
