This Yuletide season, Knowledge Channel treats its viewers to enchanting Christmas Specials!
The Magic Carpet
Topping these Christmas delights is “The Magic Carpet.” Produced by Claravall School of Dance, “The Magic Carpet” is a full-length ballet about a typical spoiled girl’s dream of happiness that she hoped to find in other places other than her own home with her parents.
Abby Evans, a ballet student from British School Manila, and Miguel Faustmann play the lead roles as Abby and the genie, respectively. Riding the magic carpet, the genie took Abby from one “happy” place to another only to find out in the end that those places were not meant for her because home was where she would find true happiness.
