SM Cinema fortified its CinExclusive this month to celebrate the 100% digitization of all its screens, making patrons’ movie-viewing experience more engaging with crystal-clear image display and powerful sound. CinExclusive is a program the features movies to which SM Cinema has sole rights to exhibit. Among its roster of past offerings are The Ring 3 and Rurouni Kenshin.
The first CinExclusive for the month, Snitch, opens March 6. The movie stars Dwayne Johnson, who shows how far a father would go to save his child. Johnson’s character goes on a dangerous mission to save his son from imprisonment after having been wrongly accused of drug distribution.
Two adventure movies open on March 13: Quest for A Heart and the Dinosaur Project.For kids and kid- at-heart movie patrons, they will surely enjoy the hilarious and poignant story of the movie, Quest for a Heart. The movie recounts the adventures of a mischievous Elf, Rolli who befriends a beautiful Elf girl, Millie. However, when a powerful force arrives starts destroying the Forest of the Elves, both Elves embark on an adventure to find a mythical, magical heart powerful enough to defeat the dark forces and restore the Forest to normal.
Set in the heart of the African jungle, the CinExclusive Dinosaur Project follows a team of explorers on a quest to prove the existence of a mythical water creature. Their adventure leads them to the discovery of the existence of giant creatures that have been presumed extinct for millions of years.
Apartment 1303, a remake of the Japanese horror film of the same title opens on March 20. The movie tells the story of Janet, a young girl who moves into a new apartment after a family dispute. Soon she finds out that she’s not alone apartment 1303 – she shares it with someone spooky and definitely dead. Starring Mischa Barton, Rebecca De Mornay and Julianne Moore.
