In connection to the ongoing Typhoon Maring that is devastating the whole Metro Manila and other parts of the Philippines, SM Supermalls issued the statement below:
As a public service, all the SM Supermalls, through on skeletal force, will remain open to serve our customers. The malls have served as temporary refuge to our friends in the communities over the past typhoons. We are offering the same service again. We hope that some of the stranded find temporary safe shelter in our malls.
In connection to this, SM Supermalls, together with SM Foundation, will start accepting donations for victims of Typhoon Maring in all its 47 malls nationwide. Donation bins will be made available in the malls. All donations will be coursed through Caritas Manila.
We enjoin everyone to please stay safe and dry. We are one with the nation in praying for safety, strength and courage to weather this storm.
