In an effort to extend help and financial assistance to the thousands of Filipinos who have been displaced by super typhoon Yolanda, TV5 will conduct a live fundraising telethon today (November 10) starting at 9:00 pm.
The Tulong Kapatid, Sulong Kapatid telethon will air from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am beginning with the live airing of The Mega and the Songwriter, with hosts Sharon Cuneta and Ogie Alcasid giving live musical performances to encourage people to “donate for a song”. The live telethon will resume on Monday, November 11, during Good Morning Club from 5:30-8:00 am.
Fellow Kapatid talents will be manning over 30 phone lines to accept pledges and donations via trunk line (02) 689-3355.
