This latest summer treat from 2GO Travel is a creation of Nat Manilag, one of the country’s top designers.
A graduate of AB Communication Arts at Fr. Saturnino Urios University in Butuan City, Manilag studies fashion design at the Fashion Institute of the Philippines, major in Basic and Advanced Pattern-Making and Haute Couture.
He later went to Central Saint Martins in London and studied six program: Fashion London, Designing for the Fashion Market, Draping Women’s Wear Design, Fashion Designing and Marketing, How to Start Your Own Fashion Business, and Summer Study Abroad-Fashion Designing. Nat Manilag designs clothes for Manila’s top celebs: Jessy Mendiola, Bea Alonzo, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Megan Young, Carmina Villaroel, Toni Gonzaga, Marian Rivera, Melissa Ricks, Matt Evans, Arron Villaflor, among others.
For 2GO Gear, Nat Manilag creatively fused the signature magenta and “G” symbol of 2GO Travel with stylized waves rendered in a bright, geometric print. Designed for tank tops and tees, the print come in three fun versions – Fiesta Cool (white tank top with print around the chest); Fiesta Belt (White shirt with print around the waist); and Bright Vinta (shirt with print at the top).
