The 50th 7-Eleven store based in a Caltex station opened last January 8, marked a new milestone five years into the partnership between Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), marketer of the Caltex brand of fuel and lubricants, and Philippine Seven Corp. (PSC), franchise holder of the 7-Eleven convenience store chain.
The newly opened 7-Eleven is in the Caltex station located at the corner of Meralco Avenue and Julia Vargas, Pasig City. A landmark as the first fuel service station in Ortigas Center, motorists can easily find the Caltex station for a quick refuel while the 7-Eleven store offers call center agents and nearby residents warm meals and groceries 24/7.
“Our alliance with 7-Eleven improves both our companies’ market strengths. It also gives our customers the benefit of getting 24/7 access to fuel and consumer products all in the same location. Customer response has gone beyond expectations as all the 50 7-Eleven stores at Caltex continue to do well, from the first one along Malugay Street in Makati to this most recent one. We will be launching more partnerships with other leading brands to fully serve the changing lifestyle of our customers,” said CPI Country Chairman Peter Morris.
“One of the things that make our partnership with Caltex really work is that both parties are really focused on helping our dealers or franchisees in their business endeavours. As this symbiotic relationship continues, we are looking forward to achieving another milestone, that is, the 100th 7-Eleven at a Caltex station,” added Victor Paterno, PSC president.
The synergy between Caltex and 7-Eleven gives retailers a way to boost revenues and be more creative in their business. Retailers benefit from the quick service that’s never rushed from Caltex and from 7-Eleven’s unmatched retail convenience.
