“Bistado” Reveals How Martilyo Gang Executes Robbery

Broadcast journalist Julius Babao exposes the modus operandi of the notorious martilyo gang that robs jewelry in malls and pawnshops in “Bistado” this Monday (April 7).

The said robbing syndicate is known for using hammer and other tools to smash open jewellery display cases. How do its members manage to execute the crime in public places?

Julius also provides tips on how people can protect themselves against the martilyo gang.

The episode also reveals swindlers selling fake gold bars by pretending they hail from the province and are clueless about gold trading.

One of the victims, who almost committed suicide after losing hundreds of thousands of pesos, appears in “Bistado” to detail his encounter with the group and warn the viewers.
