Epson, a world leader in digital imaging solutions and the undisputed No.1 dot matrix brand in the Philippines for more than a decade, is offering a 20% discount when customers trade in their old printers and buy an Epson LX-310, an LQ-310, or FX-2175 dot matrix printer.
From November 15, 2013 to January 31, 2014, customers who surrender their old printers (working or non-working) can get an outright 20% discount when they buy the above-mentioned Epson dot matrix models. The old printers can be any brand of a dot matrix, inkjet, or laser printer.
The Epson LX-310 and LQ-310 are upgraded versions of Epson’s best-selling LX-300 and LQ-300 models, and feature greatly improved speed and reliability. The Epson FX-2175 is dubbed as a “low maintenance and high performance workhorse” that delivers fast prints for a variety of applications.
“The amount of trust and support that the public has shown us is overwhelming and we want to express our gratitude by offering them our new dot matrix models at an attractive price,” said Epson Product Manager for Business Systems Products (SIDM, Passbook, POS Printers, and Ribbon) Thea Austria.
The LX-310 and LQ-310 printers feature a 128KB input data buffer memory that is double that of their predecessors. This enables the 9-pin LX-310 and the 24-pin LQ-310 to achieve high printing speeds of 357 and 416 characters per second respectively at 12 characters per inch (CPI) – or almost 40% faster than the models they replace.
The Epson LX-310 and LQ-310 also have improved reliability ratings that are an astonishing 67% higher than their predecessors that were already renowned for their dependability. Both new models are rated for a mean time before failure (MTBF) of 10,000 POH (power on hours) compared to the older models’ 6,000 POH.
On the other hand, the Epson FX-2175 provides high-speed printing at 476 characters per second (@10cpi) and delivers fine quality prints that are ideal for a variety of applications in varied industries. Monthly report generation, transaction reports, accounting statements, spread-sheet printing, multiple-copy documents, correspondence, and a host of other applications can be completed in volumes, and at an astonishing speed. At 12,000 POH (25% duty) of mean time before failure (MTBF), it is undoubtedly the best value-for-money dot matrix printer.
