With more than 200,000 twinkling lights blinking to the tempo of nostalgic Yuletide carols, a magical Christmas is certainly in the air at River Park, the newest recreation and dining cluster at Festival Supermall, Filinvest City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
The light and sound show is bringing the holiday cheer closer to South of Manila as it offers a visual treat with multicolored lights festooned over trees and bushes. Factor in the cool breeze, the gastronomic treats, and the sprawling 2,300-square meter River Park is the best place to spend the season in.
While enjoying hot ramen at Asahikawa Ramen Bangaichi, tapas buffet at Chef’s Barrel and Mug, fresh seafood fare at Market Basket, meats and breads at Mati’s, and coffee at Starbucks, magical performances by different groups may be enjoyed at River Park. Opening soon are Bizu Patisserie; Rice Paper, a Vietnamese resto; Hog’s Breath Cafe, an Australian steak house, Planet Grapes, and Red, an all-dining and bar concept resto.
Serenading the diners last December 21 is acoustic king Jimmy Bondoc, followed by MYMP on December 28. Carols from chorales will also fill the air with the UST Singers on December 19.
Timeless Christmas ballets also take centerstage last December 20 as premiere dance troupe Ballet Philippines performs excerpts from well-loved dances as part of the launch of River Park. Other performers at the launch were Kundirana and Rachel Alejandro. The event was capped off by a colorful fireworks display to light up the skies and the holiday season.
