Globe GCash Brings Fast And Secure Real Property Tax Payment To Valenzuela City Residents

GCash, the flagship mobile money service of G-Xchange, Inc., the mobile commerce arm of Globe Telecom, Inc. teamed up with the Valenzuela City government under USAID’s Scaling Innovation through Mobile Money (SIMM) project to forge an easy, safe and fast Real Property Tax payment for the city residents using their mobile phones.

The partnership was launched alongside the unveiling of the 3S Plus Electronic Terminal which is the country’s first fully-automated building and construction permit application system.

GCash will now be the most innovative mobile money system that will assist the Valenzuela local government with real property tax assessment and collection from its residents. Using the mobile phone, city residents can pay their taxes on-time, making real property tax payment easier, more accessible, and secure.

Valenzuela City tax payers may pay for their RPT in 2 simple steps: 1. Register to GCash by dialing *143# for FREE, select GCASH, Register, and provide the necessary information and 2. Pay for Valenzuela City Real Property Tax by dialing *137# using Globe/TM SIM; Select Valenzuela City on the list of cities; Choose Real Property Tax; Input the Tax Declaration Number; Confirm Tax Declaration Number for assessment and proceed with the payment.

GCash wallet may be funded through GCash outlets nationwide (available in Globe Stores, Puregold Supermarkets, Partner Rural Banks, Globe Load Distributors, and partner pawnshops like Villarica and Tambunting Pawnshops among others); Mobile banking through BPI Mobile Bank and Unionbank; GCash online via Megalink online cash-in and ATM via Bancnet.
