“Fun” and “festive” were the order of the day as Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) the country’s leading brand in premium-quality motorcycle, mounted recently a thanksgiving event that also served as a venue to thank its loyal customers and partners.
The Honda “Thanks Day,” which commemorated Honda’s 40th anniversary and 4 millionth unit production milestones, also featured two exciting events: the “Great Northern Tour,” an epic ride from Manila to Baguio and back that tested the fuel efficiency, toughness and performance of Honda’s various motorcycle units, and its latest performance-packed motorcycle, the “Zoomer X.”
Guests were treated to prizes, surprises and entertainment galore at the Honda “Thanks Day” that featured booths like “Timeline,” “Honda BeAt,” “3-Point Shoot Out,” and “Bike Simulator,” plus activity areas such as the Honda Photo Wall, Honda Mobile Casa, Test Ride Zone, E-Bike Learning, and Seminar Tents and Club Cluster Tents for the Honda rider clubs.
Among the more important highlights of “Thanks Day” was the arrival of the “Great Northern Tour” participants from Baguio, who were greeted by more than 1,000 people at the SM Mall of Asia. Rider Ricci Abrina earned the distinction of being the first winner of the tour as he bested more than 100 participant bikers.
And one “Thanks Day” guest, Marlon Luciano from San Juan City, was the luckiest person during the event. At the “Guess the BeAt Fuel Consumption” area, Luciano was able to guess correctly the exact fuel consumption for the Honda BeAt motorcycle, and went home with his own brand-new Honda Zoomer X as prize.
“Honda ‘Thanks Day’ was indeed a success and we would like to thank all those who went to the venue and participated in the activities. Our endless gratitude to the motorcycle-riding public for choosing Honda for the past 40 years and what we can only promise is to keep improving and delivering only the best motorcycle products that are truly worth the value of their investment,” explains Lemuel Buenaflor, HPI Advertising Supervisor.
