iACADEMY School of Continuing Education, in partnership with the International Institute of Digital Marketing (IIDM) and the Certified Digital Marketer (CDM) Program, is holding a free learning event on Monday, March 24 at 5:00 pm at the iACADEMY Amphitheater. The first speaker on the roster is emerging talent, Jason Cruz. He is the Director of Community Management at MRM Worldwide Manila, McCann Worldgroup Philippines’ award-winning digital arm. His website, jsncruz.com, was chosen as one of the Top 24 Social Media Blogs of 2013 by Social Media Examiner. His strategies have been used by the biggest names in country such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, San Miguel Beers and Unilever.
With the Digital Marketing industry valued at P8 billion in 2016, Jason Cruz will discuss the growing demand for jobs in the area he knows best, Social Media. He will talk about how the IIDM/CDM Programs can prepare our naturally social media savvy workforce for these jobs.
The second speaker is the visionary blogger turned entrepreneur, Anton Diaz. Anton is one of the country’s first successful bloggers and founder of the #1 food and travel blog in the Philippines, Our Awesome Planet. He went on to become a partner at Mercato Centrale weekend market which has now grown into almost a dozen weekend markets at different locations in the Philippines.
Anton Diaz will talk about how he leveraged Social Media to grow Mercato Centrale and how his merchant-partners also used Social Media to grow their businesses from a single booth at weekend bazaars into multiple freestanding outlets.
The third speaker is an iACADEMY partner, Hans Roxas-Chua. He is the Co-Director of IIDM and the President of eLearning EDGE, a leading provider of online education in the country. Hans is one of the most passionate advocates of online learning and Digital & Mobile Marketing. He will walk the audience through how convenient and easy it is to take the IIDM/CDM Programs online.
