Last February 1, iACADEMY celebrated its first Open House for the year 2014. The said event was attended by delegations hailing from different locals found in the immediate metro as well as nearby provinces.  The delegations were composed of a mix of senior high school students, parents, guidance counselors and faculty members from the following schools: Maquiling School of Los Banos, St. Joseph Academy of Valenzuela, Harrel Horne Integrated School from Cavite and San Isidro Catholic School of Pasay. Also in attendance were several walk-in participants.

The Open House event was themed after this year’s Chinese New Year’s event which welcomed the year of the wooden horse.

The day’s program was initiated with welcoming remarks from Mr. Jean Jalandoni of the Admissions office.  As soon as the cordial greetings were concluded, the iCAT or iACADEMY College Admission Test was administered to interested parties at a discounted rate. Further incentives for the day’s participants took the form of a raffle draw wherein the grand prize (a Wacom Intous Bamboo Fun Tablet worth Php 10,000.00) was awarded to William Rich Ireneo of St, Joseph Academy of Valenzuela.  Guests were treated to a Chinese-styled lunch cuisine and were further entertained with a live Lion Dance and school tour. The day’s program was capped-off with a special treat. An exclusive animation workshop was held and headed by two of iACADEMY’s world renowned industry partners, Animation Council of the Philippines (ACPI) and WACOM.
