K Channel will air Philippine Educational Theater Association’s Rated:PG, a play on positive discipline penned by Liza Magtoto, directed by Mae Quesada-Medina, and musically arranged by award-winning composer Vincent De Jesus.
Rated:PG is a play that raises a very important issue of how to raise a child to be a disciplined and responsible citizen. It tells the story of Joselle, a hardworking mother of two who is considering an employment abroad to meet her family’s financial needs. However, she is faced with a problem of looking for the best person who will take care of her youngest child Ton-Ton who is just six years old. She has some doubts on leaving her kid with her family because of their somehow dysfunctional personalities: her husband Romy is too preoccupied with his own job to actually be bothered with raising a son; her older child Rosalie is an irresponsible young adult; and her own mother uses corporal tactics as disciplinary methods.
