Aloysius Chew, Simmons Singapore (SEA) Pte Ltd.’s Regional General Manager said that the beauty of sleeping in the new mattress is it provides the consumer supreme comfort as it is equipped with different layers of foams, fibres and even natural materials like cashmere, silk, wool and memory foam on the top of the pocketed coil unit.
“These layers add comfort and conformability to give the mattress a special touch appeal and enhance the cushioning feeling that you experience as you lie down,” Chew added in an interview with him during the launching of the mattress at the Simmons studio in San Juan last July 10, 2014.
“As a firm believer that the mattress one sleeps on makes a difference in the individual’s wellness, Simmons is committed to developing superior mattresses and thus help consumers attain a better quality of sleep to live life fully charged. In 1925 John Franklin Gail Simmons designed a machine that could coil and insert wires into fabric sleeves independently. As a result of Gail’s pocketed coil spring machine, Simmons beauty rest mattresses were all filled with unique pocketed coils.
Today, Simmons is the forerunner in technological innovations which includes the individually wrapped pocketed coil mattress with its legendary “Do-Not-Disturb” benefit.
Simmons provided beds for hotels such as Shangri-La, Hilton Cebu, Marco Polo Davao, New World Manila, Solaire Resort and Casino, The Peninsula Manila, Westin Philippine Plaza and Traders Hotel.
