Star For All Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto considers ABS-CBN’s most talked-about family drama series, “The Legal Wife,” as one of the country’s most memorable teleseryese.
“It’s a unique TV program that reflects how Filipinos value the family. It shows the importance of the relationship of husband and wife, and the things that they go through when facing trials,” said Vilma about the top-rating, Twitter-trending primetime series that is set to give viewers the “most exciting finale” this Friday (June 13).
“In ‘The Legal Wife,’ Monica (Angel Locsin) fought hard for her family. She showed that when you’re the legal wife, you’re really in control,” said Vilma, who is a self-confessed avid follower of the entwined lives of Monica, Adrian (Jericho Rosales), Nicole (Maja Salvador) and Max (JC de Vera).
Like many of the die-hard supporters of the show, Vilma Santos also has her own opinion as to the “right ending” for Monica’s love story.
“If I’m Monica and I’ve already exhausted all means (to keep the relationship) and yet both Adrian and I are still miserable, then it’s time to part ways,” she said.
