Uratex Foam Showcased At The Philippine International Furniture Show

Uratex, the Philippines’ largest manufacturer of commercial and automotive polyurethane foam products, highlighted its different quality foams during the Philippine International Furniture Show (PIFS), held recently at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

At the annual PIFS trade show, one of the country’s most important events for the home furniture and furnishings sector, Uratex showcased its products in an exhibit that also tapped the export market, as part of its efforts to make the Philippine furniture industry succeed.

The PIFS is a celebrated gathering in the furniture industry in the country where established and internationally recognized local designers and manufacturers team up with exciting new talent coming through the ranks, and to show what the Filipino design community is capable of.

Dindo Medina said that Uratex is now among the few remaining weaving facilities to continue the supply and make the industry alive after some of the associated industries have already shut down. “If we can contribute much to the welfare of the country, then we will do. As 2015 comes, trade barriers will be relaxed, meaning the influx of goods will be easier for the Philippine industry.”
