Among hundreds who applied for the online auditions of Pinoy K-Pop Star, only 20 were selected to compete in this year’s regional finals which will be held at SM Mall of Asia Center Stage on August 15 at 1:00 P.M.
The contest is divided in to two categories: singing and dance competition. For the Singing category, Vennise Nicole Siy, Hergie Manlucot, Val John Librea, Nikka April Siervo, Christelle Tolisora, Diana Tabitha Caro, Jean Kiley Manguera, EXHALE, 200Percent, and Day’s July Band will be competing for the final round.
For the dance category, Filipino cover dance groups Ennea, Pink Step, Sheeny, EXQST, UNL7SHD, Amigo, Exotix, Se-Eon, Pixies, and Hybrid will showcase their inner dance machine by dancing to the music of their chosen K-Pop idol group.
The winner for the cover dance category will represent the Philippines in the 2015 K-Pop Festival in Korea. The grand prize winner for the singing competition will represent the Philippines in the online regional finals of 2015 K-POP World Festival.
