A young man learns how to forgive an abusive stepfather despite all the pain he caused in another tear-jerking episode of “MMK” this Saturday (November 7).

Rommel, to be played by Urian best supporting actor Junjun Quintana, is constantly beaten up and verbally abused by his stepfather Rogelio (Ian De Leon) because of his homosexuality. Growing up, he feels unwanted and hated at home. Not even his own mother Leoner (Mickey Ferriols) defend him from the awful treatment from his supposed father figure.

At age eleven, Rommel runs away from home and lives in the streets where he felt some sense of belongingness. That is until he becomes a victim of a syndicate that prostitutes children like him to Arab men. Luckily, he is able to escape and goes back home.

Things have not changed, however. He still feels unloved by Rogelio and Leoneor. Rommel then decides to work hard to make something for himself.

With his newfound strength and success in life, can he also find it in his heart to forgive his mother and stepfather?

Joining this “MMK” episode are John Vincent Servilla, Izzy Canillo, Cheska Billiones, Shekanaiah Gamit, Joshua Dionisio, Michelle Vito, and Gem Ramos. The episode is directed by Nick Olanka and written by Jaymar Castro. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.
