It has been Association of Filipino Franchisers Inc. (AFFI Empowering EntrepreneursTM) aspiration to see more OFWs returning in the Philippines because they have established a good business that will help them to earn a decent living for their family.
Last March 10, The DOLE-National Reintegration Center led by Director Chona Mantilla had sealed the partnership with AFFI to bring realization of encouraging OFWs to go into business and stay in our country.
Aside from providing business opportunities, NRCO and AFFI, will also collaborate in Employment opportunities for repatriated OFWs, Identification and sourcing out possible supplies from the provinces of OFWs to be offered to business network of AFFI and lastly, endorsement of legit business brands through the membership screening.
AFFI and NRCO will be hosting regional entrepreneurship caravans to showcase different opportunities. Initial caravans are set on May 15 to 17 in Region 2 and on July in Region 3. Starting first week of June, AFFI members’ information will be distributed to all Philippine Embassies worldwide to make sure that all OFWs will be informed of the available business opportunities.
