Leading German brand Bosch exhibited its latest and most trusted innovations at the PhilConstruct Expo, the country’s biggest construction convention at the SMX Convention Hall. Bosch’s participation in the four-day trade event enabled the company to connect with the country’s leading contractors, property developers, construction companies, architects, designers and distributors, providing both exhibitors and visitors a first-hand look at Bosch technologies for construction and security systems. Bosch showcased a wider portfolio of power tools from Bosch Professional, Skil and Dremel lines as well as CCTV cameras, intrusion devices, and fire detection, among many other security systems.
PhilConstruct visitors were the first to witness two new security innovations from Bosch, as the company’s Security Systems division announced the availability of the AVENAR 4000 Fire Detection System, and the 360-view Panoramic Camera, both set to be officially launched in November.
The Avenar 4000 family of fire detectors eliminates false fire alarms through Intelligent Signal Processing (ISP), an advanced system of sensors and smart algorithms that filters electromagnetic pollution caused by a complex technical infrastructure typically found in today’s modern buildings. Meanwhile, the Bosch Panoramic Camera captures 180-degree or 360-degree view in a single image, minimizing blindspots and giving security personnel the advantage of intelligent video analytics and accurate surveillance data.
“Enhancing our security systems portfolio with smart technologies, unprecedented field of vision and superb image resolutions are Bosch’s way of answering the market’s needs, especially in a country with an increasingly bullish construction industry,” said Edwin Malig, Bosch Security Systems Country Sales Manager. “Through these new products, we hope to make every establishment, big or small, a safe and secure environment.”
One of the strongest economic indicators for the Philippines is its robust real estate development sector. Foreign direct investments in real estate, hospitality and construction sector increased by over 60 percent between 2014 and 2015, making the sector the fifth most attractive for foreign investors. The recently concluded Philconstruct 2015 celebrated the industry’s potential to become a key driver for economic growth and highlighted the opportunities and challenges that lies ahead as the ASEAN Economic Community comes into fruition in 2016.
Gilas coach and Skil brand ambassador Coach Norman Black, and DIY handicraft expert and Dremel brand ambassador Sonny Limjap headlined the juncture, attracting hundreds of supporters, consumers, and end-users visiting the Bosch booth.
Bosch’s latest group of products, the Contractors’ Choice Power Tools Range was also made available to cater a broader market of smaller-scale users who are looking for premium-quality power tools at a desirable price range.
Launched in July, the Contractors’ Choice Power Tools is front-lined by drills and grinders that are intricately designed to be robust, durable, and compact. Tools such as the GBM 320, GBM 350, GSB 550, and the GSR 1080-2 LI are made to achieve precise drilling, while the GSH 500 demolition hammer, GWS 060 angle grinder and GCO 200 cut off saw are perfect to accomplish heavy-duty tasks.
“By keeping value-for-money in mind, Bosch works relentlessly to elevate the experience of professionals and enthusiasts through advanced technologies and features that are embedded on our power tools,” said William Go, Bosch Power Tools Country Sales Manager. “We are delighted to be participating once again in this year’s PhilConstruct which has always been our avenue to develop and renew linkages with patrons, handymen, and industry tradesmen.”
