The Filipino executive will be responsible for the hotel’s daily operations, overseeing its 243 rooms, 10 function rooms, buffet restaurant, bar, and spa. Mainly focusing on providing the genuine Filipino hospitality, it is inevitable for the group to choose a Filipino manager to lead the growing brand.
At the young age of 13, Tony Co started his career in hospitality when he worked as a waiter in a small Chinese restaurant in Binondo, Manila. Working while studying, his part time stints in various restaurants and fast food chains taught him the right attitude in interacting with customers. It may not be a glamorous start, but this experience led him to become a management trainee in a known hotel brand in Makati. His outstanding performance has earned him a number of managerial positions with other international hotel brands as well. His high regards to customer service and attention to details are brought by his extensive background on food and beverage. He has also headed several pre-opening teams of different hotels and resorts in and outside Metro Manila.
