“Ningning” star Jana Agoncillo plays an optimistic daughter who is battling two rare diseases in her first “MMK” episode this Saturday (November 28) on ABS-CBN.
Despite suffering from bone marrow cancer and epidermolysis bullosa, a rare skin disease, six-year-old Ashley remains optimistic as she goes through treatment. But instead of bringing together her family, Ashley’s condition creates a rift between her mother Jennifer (Precious Lara Quigaman) and grandmother Cleofe (Coney Reyes).
Wanting to make up for her daughter whom she lost sight of in the past, Cleofe wholeheartedly takes over the motherly responsibilities of Jennifer. Besides, Jennifer lacks the courage to take care of her daughter and see her suffer.
Will Jennifer learn to be bold in taking good care of her own daughter? Will Cleofe and Jennifer patch things up for the sake of Ashley?
Joining this “MMK” episode are Marco Alcaraz, Juan Rodrogo, Suzette Ranillo, Anna Luna, Sofia Millares, and Alvin Arellano. The episode is directed by Ruel Montanes and written by Elfren Vibar. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.
