Queen of Pinoy Soap Operas Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo will pay a special tribute to mothers all over the world this Saturday (May 9) as ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” airs the touching story of a mother who was separated from her four children.
In the story, Judy Ann will portray the character of Belen, a mom who only wants to give the best for her children. Because of her husband’s irresponsibility, Belen was forced to leave her family to undergo a training in Manila.
However, when she returned after three months, Belen’s world crumbled when she discovered that her husband sold all of their children.
Witness all the difficulties and sacrifices that Belen needed to do in order to search for all of her children.
Also joining Judy Ann in “MMK’s” Mother’s Day special are Ian de Leon, Sam Concepcion, Kristel Fulgar, Celine Lim, Mariel Pamintuan, JB Agustin, Eva Darren, Crispin Pineda, Nikki Bagaporp, Neri Naig, Raquel Montessa, and Tom Olivar. It is under the direction of Mae Cruz-Alviar and written by Benjamin Benson Logronio. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.
